A complete antenatal preparation course

This 10 hour course draws on my knowledge and experiences as a Solution Focused Hypnotherapist, KG Hypnobirthing Instructor, Midwife and Doula. It has been created to adapt exactly to the needs of you and your partner.

Over the weeks, we cover the principles and practice of Hypnobirthing including:

  • Breathing and Relaxation

  • Guided Visualisations

  • Techniques to help you stay positive

As a complete birth preparation package, we also include:

  • The stages of birth

  • Recognising the onset of labour

  • Writing your birth preferences including preparing your birth environment

  • Pain relief

  • Assisted birth

  • Partner’s role and bag packing

  • 4th Trimester

 

The benefits of hypnobirthing include:

  • Help you to stay calm, relaxed and positive through the remainder of your pregnancy

  • Equip you and your partner to have a calm, positive birth whatever the outcome

  • Enables you to make informed decisions

  • Helps you to stay in control of your birthing experience

  • Fewer complications

 

The course is 4 x 2.5 hour sessions at your home. It is recommended that your birth partner attends. The course is also available online via the Zoom platform.

BIRTH DOULA

Support When You Most Need It 

I am Northamptonshire based and willing to travel within 50 miles of my home base in Higham Ferrers. Travel costs may apply. 

A birthing doula:

  • Offers Emotional, practical and signposting support before, during and after childbirth.

  • Mothers the mother (Parents the parents)

  • Enables new parents to have the most satisfying and empowered time during pregnancy, birth and the early days of parenthood.

 

As a birth doula, my aim is to provide continuous support to help you have a calm and positive experience whatever way you birth. I am passionate about helping you to create your preferred birth environment whether it is to be at home or in hospital. I also have an extensive selection of birth related books to help you feel more informed as you navigate your way around available options.

As well as your 4 week Hypnobirthing Course, Your Doula package includes:

  • 24/7 support by phone, WhatsApp or email throughout the course and until your baby is born

  • 24/7 on call - 14 days before your estimated due date until your baby arrives.

  • Support for the duration of your labour, birth and the Golden Hour until you feel settled.

  • One postnatal session within 10 days of your birth where we can discuss your birth journey and anything you might need moving forward
